This is a guide for submitting the monthly report to the Employer Register Sulinal. It can be used by both private companies and public organizations.
All companies that have had employees must, at the end of each month, report wages, fringe benefits, pensions, and taxes to the Employer Register at Sulinal.nanoq.gl .
It is mandatory to submit a monthly report. Companies with 20 or more employees are required to submit digitally.
After reporting, the tax must be paid to the Tax Agency.
In order to report wages, your company must be registered in the Employer Register. If you do not have employees for a period, you can notify sulinal@nanoq.gl.
As a company with employees, you are also required to inform your employees monthly about their wages, pensions, and paid taxes.
To submit a report, you will need the following information about each of your employees:
Digitally via Sulinal.nanoq.gl
The Tax Agency has created a guide on how to submit a monthly report. It can be found at Sulinal.nanoq.gl. Note, that the guide is in Greenlandic and Danish only.
When submitting digitally, you can either enter the information for each employee or upload a CSV file. If you choose to upload a file, there is a format description for the file at sulinal.nanoq.gl under forms.
Via Form
All employers are encouraged to submit monthly reports digitally. This makes it easier for the employer to find the necessary information when submitting the annual wage report at the end of the year.
Companies with fewer than 20 employees have the option to submit via a form.
You find all formes at Sulinal.nanoq.gl. Please note, the form is in Greenlandic and Danish only.
Tax filling forms in English can be found via this link.
The form must be sent to sulinal@nanoq.gl or delivered to the Tax Agency.
When you submit the monthly report, the information is received by the Employer Register. You will receive an automatic message confirming that your email has been received every time you contact sulinal@nanoq.gl.
The submitted information is saved for potential future audits.
The Tax Agency conducts employer audits and can also cross-check the information you provide with control data.
If the Tax Agency finds that your reports are incorrect, for example, if you have not correctly reported fringe benefits, you will be notified to correct the information and will receive a tax fine. The Tax Agency can audit your reports for up to five years to check their accuracy.
If you discover that information is incorrect, you can contact sulinal@nanoq.gl to request a correction.
The monthly report must be submitted by the 10th of the month following the month in which the work was performed. If the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline is the next working day.
