Important Deadlines

Key deadlines for all employers are:

• You must submit a report on wages, pensions, AMA contributions, and withheld taxes every month.
• The deadline for submission is the 10th of the following month. If this falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline is the next working day.
• On the 20th of the same month you submit, a tax invoice will be issued.
• The deadline for paying the tax is the 1st of the following month.
• You must submit an annual report each year.
• The deadline for submission is January 31st of the following year. If this falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline is the next working day.

No extensions are granted for reporting or submission. If you do not submit on time, you will receive a fee. The fee amounts to 1% of the A-tax amount, but no less than DKK 500 and no more than DKK 1,000.

All companies are encouraged to submit electronically. Companies with more than 20 employees are required to report electronically. Other companies can submit via the forms available on Sulinal.
