At it's meeting in saturday, 10 October 2026, Inatsisartut's Finance Committee decieded that alla citizens who recieved excess Suila-tapit payments for the 2025 income year will have their debt relating to the overpayment waived, without any offsetting against debts.
The Tax Agency expects to be able to waive the overpaid Suila-tapit amounts for the 2025 oncome year within the next two weeks from today. Citizens who have already repaid all or part of their overpaid Suila-tapit for the 2025 income year can also expect to recieve a refund into their NemKonto within the next two weeks form today.
The waiver of overpaid Suila-tapit and the refund of amounts already repaid are not subject to offsetting, and the full amounts will be waived or refunded, as applicable.
